Where To Buy Afinitor (Top voted first)

I took afinitor on a clinical trial for breast cancer and had amazing results in just three weeks. Unfortunately, I was taken off the trial due to extreme side effects. My insurance won't cover this medicine for breast cancer. Does anyone know where I can get this drug at a reasonable price?

Unfortunately, no, I have no information on that. Most cancer medications are incredibly expensive and there is very little assistance available for them.

In addition, you would need a doctor's prescription and this medication hasn't been approved for treating breast cancer, yet. It is still undergoing clinical trials.

Afinitor is not YET approved for breast cancer but as I see it there is nothing to lose in some situations...the other thing that is becoming clearer is that the side effects of all the TKI and MTOR medications are actually a paradox! we know today that people who have hand and foot syndrome hypertention and hypothyroidism as side effects to sunitinib treatment and continue their medications have much higher overall survival !!!

I have afinitor 5mg tablets. I have been placed on a different medication and no longer need the afinitor the expiration date is april 14.

For those who find this medication to be expensive then you might consider going through the manufacturer (Novartis) to see if they can offer a patient assistance program, or you might also try using a prescription discount card the next time your script gets refilled.
