Where Is Toprol Manufactured?

Could you tell me where (country) Toprol pills are manufactured?

It may help you to know that the brand name Toprol XL is manufactured in the United States by AstraZeneca. If you are taking generics, however, then that may not apply.

Generic forms of meds may be manufactured in a number of countries, but the best way to tell would be to post if there are any specific letters or numbers appearing on the pill. If it is made in the U.S. then we will be able to verify based on that information. Also, if you could include in your post where you obtained the meds from (whether it was a web site, a pharmacy, etc), that would help.

Per your email description "I got the pills from Walgreens Drug Store. They are a generic form of Toprol, 100mg, single scored and stamped with the number 368."

The pills which you are describing are indeed Extended Release Metoprolol Succinate (generic Toprol XL) 100 mg, manufactured by ETHEX (a United States company).
