Where Are The Pain Clinics In South Florida? Help!

Im looking for a good clinic in south florida... I am from deerfield (broward) I have mri and ive had surgery. I have aetna insurance but I cant find any clinics anymore.. Please help me and send me an email xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}. I really need help my pain is redic and I got prescribed 30mg oxy a few days ago but I couldn't fill the script anywhere.... so they gave me 20mg kadians which aren't good enough. I will be in someones debt if they can give me some names of the better clinics down here that accept insurance

Have you tried contacting Aetna to ask them?

They usually have a list of places in your area that accept their insurance coverage to help you find a new doctor when you need to do so.

If you can drive up a little ways to Brandon, Fl, the pain clinic there--Brandon Pain Clinic is superb. The Dr. There does not just push pills. He is qualified to perform most all pain relieving procedures. he is very professional and compassionate. He just completed back laser ablation on me & that severs the nurves around my unfixable areas & lasts 7+ months. I was able to almost quit all pain medication & enjoyed the pain break I got last year. Supposedly each time it is done, it lasts a little bit longer as the nerves give up regenerating, etc. highly recommended but wait is long some times. Once you are in the rotation though, you can go to a 2 month plan for follow-ups.

where can I find a pain medication that's not too strong but need it for my whole right side of my body that I have this pain every day from the work that I do the pain is so bad sometimes I want to take off work or just laying in the bed and not be able to walk around

It appears that you do not have a problem with your doctor... If your doctor is giving you the prescription for the pain medication that you need.... but you are unable to fill it... How will a new pain doctor help you?

Please understand that I'm not trying to argue with you as I to have been in your shoes! Your problem is trying to get your prescription filled... I would check with your insurance and see if they can fill your prescriptions and mail order them to you!

I have just moved to Fort Lauderdale and I need a doctor and don't know where to look. If I can find a decent doctor I am under the influence that my insurance company will mail order my medication to me... yes I take relatively high doses of medication as well so I will have to see if what I'm told is true but first I need a doctor!

It has been years now and none of this is getting any easier... I can't help but think of two people that can get their medications filled at the pharmacy on a regular basis are paying out the nose for their meds at Independent Pharmacies or they have friends in the right places who are able to help get their medications filled! I know cases of both!

Let's face it, the U.S. is as about Communistic as a country can be. The government wants to control EVERYTHING, and at your expense, monetarily through excessive taxation. I am so sick and tired at age 58 of government interference.

I need a Doctor that will take over my pain management. I am currently taking Oxycodone 30mg IR 4 times a day, Morphine Sulphate 30 MG ER 1 tab every 12 hours, and Naproxen 500 mg every 12 hours. I live In Englewood Florida and have Florida Blue Bluecare HMO insurance and am willing to drive up to 50 miles to find a Dr to help me and take over my pain management care. Please if you know any Dr that will help me get my life back I am all ears

I think you need to keep your unnecessary opinions to yourself. I did all natural care for 6 years after I broke my back and tried to stay away from taking pain medication for as long as I possibly could. I had a change in my views when it comes to pain management when my life changed drastically and I no longer was living and barely existing. So maybe you should keep your negative posts to yourself. I am a small business owner and a functioning member of society that deserves to live a happy life. So next time you want to act like God and start judging maybe you should think about what it would be like if you lived in severe pain and had lost all the things that you enjoy to do in life because instead of living you were in bed in pain and the only time you got out of bed was to vomit the pain was so intense..... then you can talk!

Need a "flexible" doc who will prescribe me couple of months supply of oxy 15 mg taken b.i.d. for chronic shoulder pain. (Have already had all the surgery that my shoulder and acromion can take.) I am in Stuart, but will drive up to 30 miles. Don't want a big diagnostic workup or lectures...just relief that 2,400 mg of ibuprofen won't provide--even in combo with acetaminophen. Will pay OOP up to $250. {edited for privacy}
