Where Are Pharmacies That Will Fill 10mg Percocets

I am new to the Jacksonville area from NY and my NY dr prescribed my script for lyrica and percocet 10mg because he knew there would be a gap between getting new ins. coverage and finding a new rhumetologist ( as I have fibromyalgia ) I have been to too many pharmacies to count only to be told they are "out" of the medication. So now here I am trying to start a new job and new life here in Jacksonville without my medication. Please help.... What do I do?

Veronica: if your prescriptions are written by a Doctor in New York, I'm sorry to tell you NO PHARMACY in Arkansas will fill them. They can't. The DEA regulations will NOT allow a pharmacy in Arkansas to fill any controlled substance prescriptions from any other state. You will have to find a Doctor here in Arkansas, OR return to NY to have them filled.

Ooops...Just realised you didn't say whether you moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas OR Jacksonville, Florida. Either way, prescriptions for controlled substances HAVE TO be filled in the same state they were written from.

If you moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas, I know of a pain mgmt. practice that is taking new patients. If you would like their information, just post a reply to this post and I can give you their name and address. They would probably be able to get you in there pretty quickly. Best regards. P.S. The pharmacies are telling you they are out because that is easier than arguing with you about an out-of-state prescription.
