Where In Wv Can I Get The Prescription Of My Oxycontin Oc Filled

I have been taking oxycontin oc 80mg er for about 15 yrs , now i cannot find nothing but the op instead and it causes many side effects, stomach swelling , the strnegth is totally different and the price is out rageous, can you find a pharmacist that carries theoc generics so i can have a normal life i feel hopeless much less the price is killing my budget. im in west virginia. thanks

There are no generics on the market for Oxycontin, the new formulation with the OP marking is the only one that's available.

To help prevent abuse, the FDA did away with all generic versions of the time released formulations of Oxycodone.

Serousily OXYCONTIN was not ment to use for that long. Have you had surgery. I have had 5 and am concidering another for the simple reason people have abused and died then their family's and the law hold doctors reponsible.If I can read I know how to correctly use meds.Now I can't get meds. my DR. retired,and all the clinics act like your drug seeking. Believe me if a person is in enough pain they will try surgery if its an option.At the most narco 10mg is sufficient for daily use. more shows dependancy DANGEROUS!!!

I guess your best chance would maybe be Peru because they don't make those oxycotton OC anymore its all OP so that you can't abuse it, so that you have to turn to H, so that you could become a drug addict, so that you can fill the pockets of all the new suboxone doctors..... they think they've hit the jackpot

My regular Pharmacy is closed until next Wednesday because they are on vacation and i've been trying to fill my meds since Thursday. Can anyone share advice on where I may have them filled in WV?

They took the ingredient out of the oc now they are op and they suck. Switch to 40mg of opana (oxymoraphone) they are just like the original 80mg oxycontin if not better. I tried a 30mg opana and it was just like the original 80 oc so a 40mg opana should be a lot better.

If I am not mistaken the OxyContin OPs came onto the market around 2008-2009. These OPs are manufactured by Purdue pharmaceuticals, the original company to introduce OxyContin many years ago in the early 90s. It is NOT TRUE, however, that generic OxyContin is completely off the market. Another company (and possible subsidiary of Purdue pharma) Ethex pharmaceuticals still manufactures "ol skool" OxyContin 80mg ER tablets. These "generic" OCs look IDENTICAL to the the green monsters we have become used to and comfortable, and happy with until recently. The generic OCs being manufactured do EVERYTHING the originals did. To get said generic OxyContin u need to have a personable relationship on good standing terms with ur current pm dr. The generics have to be requested, by ur physician, with a legitimate reason as to y the OP version of OxyContin is not working for u. A typical common reason is that the binders and fillers that otherwise make the OP OxyContin INDESTRUCTIBLE (I mean literally) can be extremely hard on the G.I. tract and end up doing more harm than good.
