Found substitute for Drixoral and it WORKS. Tried all the rest they don't work! Allegra-D in 12 hour or 24 hour. I am in Canada. I hope it is available to you. I suffered for months, couldn’t sleep either and nothing else worked.

I have had a lot of luck and combined three different meds. One behind the counter, no script needed and two direct from the dollar store. I use 30mg of pseudoephedrine HCI (one pill), one equate daytime cold and flu (replaces dayquil liquicaps) and one cough and cold pill (replaces the Muscinex dm). All of these together have about the same meds as one drixoral. Make sure to use non-drowsy and you should be fine. I can't say it is safe, I can't say you won't have a negative reaction. I can say I take this cocktail and it works for me. You may have to look into it a bit and see what you need to tweak to get it to work for you. No matter what though, it seems to take the place of drixoral for me. Oh, and it costs me about 6 bucks for a months worth of stuff. Cuts the costs in at least a quarter.

Psuedophed has the 120 mg of decongestant but no antihistamine. Hope that helps. Can be purchased behind the counter in US.

I have a friend visiting Canada now and she's tried 3 places and they say discontinued.

Actually I began using (advice from a co-worker) Dee Cee Labs Phytofed natural decongestant. For me, it COMPLETELY cleared up my sinuses when they decide to go into stupid mode. For most people, they always think you can only order Dee Cee products through your doctor or specialist, but you can get any of their products through earthturns.com and they are much cheaper than through a physician. Dee Cee is also known as dc in red lettering on their bottles and I have purchased their products for over 20 years with not a single problem yet.. just never knew they had a natural allergy/sinus remedy that WORKS. And for under $10 for a 45 count, its pretty dang affordable too!

I would like to know where to buy several packets of Drixoral little green pills for allergies. I have found nothing that works as well. I don't mind paying more if I can get them from Canada. I am miserable and they always made me feel better. And no, nasal sprays don't work. Please help me!

I spoke to a Bayer Canada customer service representative today and was told they have been receiving many calls regarding the discontinuance of Drixoral. Please call them at 800-622-2937 to voice your concerns. The customer service representative told me that "you never know if they may bring Drixoral back??"

Hi and thank you but advil cold and sinus I take for sinus headaches. As for itching and sneezing ? There is no antihistamine in this product. Drixoral was perfection!

If it helps you, I was talking to my pharmacist, he recommended trying advil cold and sinus, so far I am all good, didn't work as fast but does a not bad job.

Odd, I can't find one on-line pharmacy that sells this any longer in Canada. I'm in America and like many here, we want our Drixoral and I think it's plain wrong that we have to suffer and hear the lies regarding the company that made it.

Interesting. I bought this and it is not as if this CVS Allergy Relief is so cheap!! it is not! And no Claritin did not help me either.

I was told by a CVS pharmacist that Allergy Relief - D is just the generic brand for Claritin. So, you just buy Claritin if it works for you. It does not for me.

You can still buy Drixoral in Canada. I bought mine mail order. I've also purchased it in Victoria, BC while visiting there. I agree 100% that it's the best.

I can't find the CVS Allergy relief - D. Only Allergy Relief without the D at CVS. that is just the antihistamine without the decongestant. Now why can't I find this? Where did you get it?

Lodrane did NOTHING for me. Sorry. I already tried that.

Fortunately, I have 6 boxes left. But I recently discovered LODRANE 24D. Have not tried it yet, it requires a prescription, and I'm going to try and get my MD to sign off on it. It's the same AI, not as much psuedo, but it may work just as well.
