Where Can You Buy Drixoral Cold And Allergy? (Page 3) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI would like to find out about the availability of Drixoral Cold and Allergy pills. They are round little green pills.
Fortunately, I have 6 boxes left. But I recently discovered LODRANE 24D. Have not tried it yet, it requires a prescription, and I'm going to try and get my MD to sign off on it. It's the same AI, not as much psuedo, but it may work just as well.
I can't find the CVS Allergy relief - D. Only Allergy Relief without the D at CVS. that is just the antihistamine without the decongestant. Now why can't I find this? Where did you get it?
I cant find allergy relief -D in any CVS. This is hopeless and i am dying with allergic reactions. I cant take anything on the market today. Zyrtec or any of the popular ones dont work or put me to sleep! Where is this Allergy Relief D?
I was told by a CVS pharmacist that Allergy Relief - D is just the generic brand for Claritin. So, you just buy Claritin if it works for you. It does not for me.
where did you mail order it from?? Canada has banned Drixoral too.
If it helps you, I was talking to my pharmacist, he recommended trying advil cold and sinus, so far I am all good, didn't work as fast but does a not bad job.
I would like to know where to buy several packets of Drixoral little green pills for allergies. I have found nothing that works as well. I don't mind paying more if I can get them from Canada. I am miserable and they always made me feel better. And no, nasal sprays don't work. Please help me!
I have a friend visiting Canada now and she's tried 3 places and they say discontinued.
Victoria, it's worth the drive. Where in Vic can I go?
Canada no longer has Drixoral. It is discontinued up there also.
Just went to Canada they can't get it anymore either.
The number I called today re: Drixoral was Bayer Canada at: 1-800-622-2937.
I was replying to DD's post, but that's not how it posted.
it is possible we can find it in uropian pharmacist?
Chlorphen-12 is the generic equivalent to Chlor-Trimeton or so they say now
Re: Lis (# 8)
I would love to know how to get ahold of drixoral it's the only thing that worked for cold and allergies an you didn't have to take a whole box of
I believe Drixoral was a miracle drug that would put all other drugs out of business. And since it was generic no profits were being made.......at least the level of profits the new drugs (Claritin et al) would bring. Curious that something so good, that was NOT discontinued by the FDA for any health reason (per their website) would not be available. Isn't it also surprising that no one else is manufacturing anything with dexbrompheniramine maleate? Collusion? There needs to be an investigation.
Re: Tellusthetruth (# 65)
They took it off the market because the Sudafed was being used by drug dealers to make methamphetamine, so once again the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many.
Re: singerita (# 19)
Cetirizine-D is generic of brand name Zyrtec-D. Should be available in the U.S.A. for sure and I would think in Canada. May have to sign for it because of the pseudoephedrine or my friend's Doctor writes her a prescription for it. And the pharmacy can fill it no problem.
