It's been a very long time since I've been on the pill. I began a few weeks ago & have 2 white pills left. Years ago, I always knew when my period would begin and one of the advantages of the pill was regularity of my period. It seems, from what I've read, that has all changed and it is now common to miss a period or more. I found this forum looking for info on what #day to expect my period but haven't found anything like that. Do I just wait & see what happens? Kinda frustrating...

Does your pack have the four maroon colored pills in it? I'm not sure if you have the name brand or a generic.
However, the last 4 pills that are colored differently should be when you get your period, within a day or two of taking the first one.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.
