I'm in my first month of Lo Loestrin Fe. I took my first pill the Sunday after my period started which was just one day after. I took 1 pill 12 hours late and the next one right on time and every time after that pretty much right on time. The websites I've read all said nothing will happen if I just took the one late. I'm on day 26 now and have been spotting for over a week but I have no idea when I'm supose to be expecting my period.

The spotting may be your period, many oral contraceptives can cause your period to be much lighter than normal.
Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.
However, did you have unprotected intercourse during the first week? Because, if they aren't started the first or second day of your period, it takes 7 days for these oral contraceptives to become effective and prevent pregnancy.
