When Can I Take Medication That I Forgot?

I take metoprolol tart 50mg 1 1/2 tabs daily and I also take Losartan/HCTZ 100-25mg 1 tab daily. I forgot to take my Losartan after lunch and now it is almost suppertime, when can I take the Losartan?

You should take it as soon as you remember, unless it's into the next day and time for the next dose, then you should skip the missed one, unless your doctor instructs otherwise.

Losartan is an ARB that is most commonly used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, increased urination and hypotension.

If you have a smart phone, there are many free apps available that will sound an alert, when you need to take your medication, so that can help you avoid missed doses in the future.
