When Are You Fully Protected With Sprintec?

I started sprintec about 20 hours after I got my period (the next morning) and I've taken every pill on time. The pamphlet with the medication says that it's effective automatically if you start on the first day of your period and 7 days after should be fine. However I'm kinda paranoid about these things and I read that some people wait the whole first pack. Is that necessary? I don't think it is because the pamphlet says 7 days is enough but all the other reviews by others is confusing.

Hello, Erin! How are you?

Yes, if you start during the first day of your period, it is immediately effective and is effective after 7 full days, if you start it at any other time.

Is there anything else I can help with?
