When To Stop Taking Aspirin
UpdatedI am to have surgery 13th July, but am on a daily dose of aspirin due to my heart problem. Any idea when I should stop taking aspirin before surgery?

Did your doctor give you any specific time frame?
The normal recommendation is to stop taking it, at least a week, before surgery, unless your doctor or surgeon has given you different instructions.

You should also make sure that the surgeon knows you have been taking it, as well as any other medications you are taking.
