Is there a safe place to buy Darvocet in mexico. I have taken it for 3 years for chronic leg pain and it is the only thing I can take that doesn't make me feel like I am in a coma. I only take it when I need it and have never had any trouble with not taking it. However, I have tried everything Vicodin, percocet, ultram and none of them work as well on me as Darvocet and with no side effects. I would like to purchase some but want a reliable safe place to buy if anyone can recommend a place. please!
I'm taking hydrocodin and savella but nothing seems to help with the pain and I still have all the symptoms I had before. I also take a thyroxin but that hasn't been ganged for almost 3 years.
Ulrike, those can be normal side effects of the medication, because of the way it affects the body and causes CNS depression.
That is not why it was removed from the market, it was removed due to the fact that it was cardiotoxic and those effects were not found to last, once someone stopped using the medication.

Since seeing your new doctor, have your medications been changed? What are you currently taking?
I took darvoset for over 2 years. I kept telling my doctor that i felt dissy and that I had a hard time breathing and my mucles would hurt and brain fog. insted of giving me someting else he would give me the same pills. So I switched doctors. but I'm still suffering the same illnesses.
It was recalled by the U.S. FDA and in quite a few other countries back in November of 2010 and the details on it can be found on the FDA website.
It also had nothing to do with causing people to trip and fall, it was due to the disruption is causes in the electrical activity of the heart, which has caused injury to some people that have used it.
I have to seriously question Medco and I don't think I'd ever do business with them.

I'm not sure if Teva will help, but you can contact them at 888-TEVA-USA.
Can you post back and let us know if you have any luck?
Thank you Verwon. I did try calling medco and their response was that Darvocet was not recalled. They just stopped making it in the US. It was causing elderly people to trip and fall. Medco takes nothing back!
The recall and any refund should be handled by the company you ordered from, in this case Medco. Then they should handle the issue with getting their money back from Teva, when they return the unused medications to them.
Thus, you should check with Medco on what their refund policy is for such situations. If it was sent to you after the recall, they shouldn't have sent it to you, at all.

This, of course, only applies to anything ordered with a legitimate prescription. If someone orders without one, then it is a whole other ball game.
Have you tried contacting Medco?
