What's The Withdrawal Like From Ritalin Methylphenidate?

I'm on 3 of the 20 mg Ritalin and I had to go for a month without them. I was more sick than when I quit Oxycontin. Why I went without the Ritalin is because my doctor went on vacation for a month and forgot to write me a refill. I never knew that Ritalin could make you feel such bad withdrawals.

It is a stimulant and stopping such a high dose abruptly can cause withdrawal effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and chills.

How are you doing, now? Are things better? Are you on any other medications?
