What To Look For After 6 Months Of Xarelto Therapy

I've been on Xarelto for 6 months for a dvt and after neck surgery, was told to stop today, but I didn't ask why and wasn't told if I needed to watch for any problems from here on in. Is there a chance of issues by not taking it anymore?

Did you have any hair loss while on Xarelto for blood thinning? I have extreme hair loss and had back surgery and then a blood clot which they did a vein bypass on in my leg. I have been on Xarelto for over a year now. I have used various meds for hair loss. Nothing seems to help.....

Hi I’m back after writing about the Xarelto medication I have been on for about 8 weeks, for PE 2 large clots and many small ones,
There were no side effects when I was on 15mg twice a day and after Three weeks 20mg,
I have experienced dizziness ,headaches,Tinnitus,and more recently painful knees . Hard to stand up after sitting a while. I did have a knee replacement 5 years ago and that was great until now where both knees are painful.
I had an MRI last week and waiting for the result on Monday just to make sure I have no injury to it after I twisted my knee one night,(my foot stuck to the carpet and I couldn’t move quick enough to stop myself falling to the side saved by a chair)
After that I think my problem began,I felt sick in the stomach at the time I did it.
By chance after complaining of a dry cough and the knee injury I went to my GP he immediately sent me for blood test , an ESG ,urgently. Then a CTScan they found these clots.
I was rushed by Ambulance from the imaging rooms to be told I had a life threatening issue,I was shocked ,never have I had any problems before . I’m 77 years old . I hope to god these medication is not life long solution .
Ps unable to sleep too is a side effect,

There are some risks, such as the possibility of rebound clots and the subsequent health problems they could cause, according to FDA reports, but it is always best to follow your doctor's instructions.
