What Pill Could've Been Switched With An U17 Pill Look-a-like?

Afraid for my safety and disapointed by brother Says:

My older brother had a drug problem around 3years ago, everyone including myself thought he's been clean for the last two years for sure. But I just had hip replacement a month ago & I just noticed after he had visited me this past weekend I've been in more pain. I take my meds as I should but seams kinda weird I'm in more pain after his visit which was 2 days. I started going threw my meds & really looking at them & cross checking them on webmd, & noticed my U17 pills have no writing on them now?? So I stopped taking them all together because I have no idea what these are. I'm really afraid that I took something that may have harmed my body. I haven't said anything to my brother yet because I kinda want to know what this pill could be before I confront him. So if anyone has any idea what this pill could be please let me know ASAP.

If the tablets have no markings on them, it's fairly safe to make a guess that they are most likely something that's available over the counter, because all prescription tablets in the U.S. are required by law under the FDA to have markings on them. Thus, I doubt it was anything really dangerous, but it would be best to inform your doctor of what happened to be safe.

There is also a risk that it could have been something that you shouldn't take, or that may interact badly with your other medications.

However, without any markings, there's no way to say for sure what they were replaced with, there are many possibilities among over the counter unmarked tablets.

In the future, it would be a good idea to lock up your medications, when he visits, just in case.

Is there anything else I can help with?
