My mother had problems with the "white" Norco. .....made her sleepy but didn't take care of pain as well. My pharmacist said she had heard that from many people. I called Qualitest and they said there is no reason why our pharmacy shouldn't be able to get the "yellow' Norco. We asked them to order from Qualitest and now she is less sleepy and pain control is better. We went through a month and got all sorts of "reasons" why no one had the yellow Norco....even "they took the yellow dye out of it because the dye was bad for the patient". Oh my gosh...how stupid do you think I am. I still think there is something going on with flooding the market with the white pills that don't work. Still researching. There's a back story here.

Call the 800# for Qualitest. They are the company that makes them. They will tell you where to get them in your city.

I am in complete agreement with you, my pharmacist says they don't make them anymore....lies! The whole Healthcare thing has taken away our freedom too choose our medication that works for a lessor addicting substitue, in my case these knockoffs causes me to take more than prescribe due to lack of relief sooner than 4 hours. Keep digging and the truth will be there. Just as my doctor stating my sleep med Zolpidiem, (Ambien) will chang mg from 10mg to 5 for women soon. Really? Now there regulating our medications!! This whole thing has got to stop, what they are doing has completely crossed our constitutional rights!!

Tee, This is for you. Raley's Pharmacy will order the yellow Norcos for you. Target has them sometimes and UC Davis Pharmacy on O 19th street? has them. Hope this helps.

MJ....They can order them, it's just cheaper to buy the white ones. I called Qualitest (the people who make the yellow ones). They said there is no reason why your pharmacy can't get them. I'm sure it's just because the white ones are cheaper.

In November I was given the dreaded white "sugar pill" norcos.they are garbage and DO NOT WORK.i have been in agony for a month.So I had to call every single pharmacy in my town.o finally found a small mom and pop pharmacy that still has the yellow ones-thank God. All the pill heads out there have forced the government to make the drug companies make less of the good yellow ones,and more if the crappy white ones. Dear Pillheads:please STOP giving the rest of us a bad name!

Did you say MANDATORY LIMITS ON THE MANUFACTURING OF NARCO???? THAT IS A SNEAKY WAY TO PROHIBIT THE MEDICINE. MY MOM IS IN PAIN. THAT IS WRONG. JUST TELL US YOU AREN'T GOING TO MAKE IT ANY MORE.

I want to thank you so much for posting. My husband is a cancer patient which is now in remission praise God however the pharmacy people are telling us that Watson has stopped making the yellow ones. White Norco 10/325 does not work . All it does is make you extremely sleepy / still have pain . There are several brands of Norco , but the one that works best ( yellow -vintage) the one with the ( V) on them , seem to be going out! Why cuz it's effective & helps !! ? I'm so mad I can't even expesss it!! They ALWAYS stop what works and give you crap instead ! Not EVERYBODY is a drug addict !!!

I live in North Carolina..what drug store has yellow narco V 3601..the white ones dont work there definitely not as strong,I live with chronic pain,and I get nauseous and headaches from the white..they changed it and never tell you...its ridiculous
