Re: DR (# 3)
I was also taking Qualitest norco 5/325 and my pharmacy switched me to the Lupin poison last month. I felt so I’ll. Heart palpitations, worsening pain, headaches, chills, & just an overall lethargic feeling. It was horrible! My pharmacy couldn’t get the Qualitest brand this month either so I had to switch to another manufacturer yet again called Amneal. So far the Amneal brand has been okay. I also went online and discovered that Lupin was warned by the FDA just 3 months ago about their quality of generics, but apparently they were still allowed to be sold and distributed throughout the US market! Read about it here:

Also report your experience to the FDA!

I’m so pissed off and disgusted that these drug companies are allowed to sell us poison! We are already in pain! We shouldn’t have to deal with these disgusting money hungry companies who cut quality to fatten their pockets!
Re: Dash rip rock (# 1)
I am trying to locate a pharmacy in Austin that carries Qualitest brand of hydrocodone..The "Lupin" brand that CVS switched to (made in India) has something in it that is literally making me crazy..I stopped it for a while..went back to 'normal' had severe pain..started again..the Lupin drove me up the wall..point being. Can someone please help..qualitest does not do this...it's good.
In my opinion, the best way to ensure that you get what works is to have your prescribing doctor specify the name of the manufacturer you want on the prescription itself. From what I understand, this is generally enough to make the pharmacy order whatever it is you need even if they don't have it in stock at that moment. This tactic also ensures that no matter which pharmacy you go to, you should be able to get the appropriate medication. It might even help to have your doctor write down a reason why you need to avoid certain manufacturers' products (i.e. due to various binders/fillers you're allergic or hypersensitive to, etc..).
Has anyone else taken this type of approach?
The Qualitest Norco yellow kind are by far better than the white Watson brand
