What Medicine Should I Take For Ovarian Cyst? (Top voted first)

I am 24 years old unmarried. Last month I was diagnosed with functional cysts in left ovary of 5 cm. My doctor gave me OVRAL G for 21 days and told me to repeat for two cycles. After seven days of 21 days I got my period only for half an hour. What should I do? I am very confused.

I was having a problem with a cyst in my ovary and I was getting operations in 2009 in Mumbai. Before the operations I was getting regular periods, now the problem is that my period was delayed by two to three months. My age is 29 and I'm unmarried.

It is always best to follow your doctor's instructions, to be safe.

The NIH does warn that you may experience irregular periods while taking this contraceptive. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and mood swings.

Sampada, some women stop having periods while taking hormonal contraceptives.

As to getting pregnant, that might take awhile, usually a few months for this to regulate your cycles, and then for you to ovulate and become pregnant.

I had a functional cyst in my right ovary. My periods didn't stop for a month. I am 45 years old. My doc gave me regestrone cr for 21 days to balance my periods. The cyst is gone now. Should I continue with regestrone? I have been taking TENACID-MF for 6 days but my periods haven't stopped completely.
