If it has no markings on it, then it is most likely an over the counter product of some type, although there is a small chance that it could be a foreign pill.

However, all legal U.S. prescription medications are required by law to have markings on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Such markings enable law enforcement or medical personnel to discover what a pill contains, what the dosage is and who manufactured it.

The U.S. FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
