What Is The Longest Paxil Can Take To Start Working

I have been on paxil over 6 weeks now up to 60 Mgs whAt is the longest this can take to start working or does it mean if its bit working by now it just won't work for me please respond

6 weeks is the maximum time it takes to reach it's full efficacy level in the body, in many people it reaches that level in as little as 4 weeks.

But how long have you been at this dosage? You really need to be at one dosage for that period of time, in order to see if it's going to help you, because every time you raise the dosage you cause more side effects to occur, which can make it seem like it isn't working.

Don't always listen to what the "supposed" tested length is told to you as this will be quite different for everyone. I, for one, can tell you it took 3 months for Paxil to kick in for me which changed my life forever in a positive way. I estimate I was under clinic depression for 20 years which gradually got worse. However, the Paxil pulled me out of it in a big way. Some SSRIs may take a long time to be effective. Be patient.

Thank you bob did it take you that long before you noticed any positive effect at all? I'm actually on prozac now same situation no improvement but I typically give meds 6 or 8 weeks cause I feel no improvement at all I switch maybe I'm making a mistake? So you felt no better at all until three months?
