What is this tan & white capsule with G 357 on it? It was sold to me at my local pharmacy as a replacement for my usual purple capsule which is Potassium Chloride for control of blood pressure.

Hello, Benny! How are you?
It is manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing Potassium Chloride. It has just been manufactured by a different company than the other one was, which is normal for generic medications. Whichever one they have in stock, at any given time, depends on what company was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply.
The FDA warns that it is very harsh on the stomach, so it should be taken with food.
