I received a prescription for medicine prescribed for Shingles. The bottle was marked Acyclovir 800 MG Tablet TEV, The first 30 tablets were white, oblong-shaped, tablet imprinted with N947 on the front and 800 on the back. The pharmacist said he had to finish the prescription with the same pill from a different manufacturer. The pills in question is the remaining 10 which are white oblong tablet imprinted with RX505 on the front and nothing on the back. I cannot find anything which identifies this pill.

The tablets with the RX 505 marking contain 800mgs of Acyclovir, which is used to treat Shingles, or other herpes simplex infections.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, skin rash, and stomach pain.
