What Is Histatussin?

I'm a concerned dad from jamaica and want to know what histatussin is?

From what I can discover, Histatussin contains Chlorpheniramine and Ephedrine, it is commonly used to treat cold and allergy symptoms.

Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and nervousness.

Ephedrine was banned in the U.S., because it can cause cardiac problems, by accelerating the heart rate and blood pressure.

Razo D contains 30mgs of Domperidone and 20mgs of Rabeprazole, it is used to reduce the amount of acid the stomach products, to treat conditions such as GERD and ulcers.

i'm from J'ca as well and it was prescribed for my wheezing. it makes me so jittery and i can literally feel the increase blood flow in my body. i'm never taking it again

I'm Kay . My sinus has been draining and I also have asthma related symptoms like coughing and a little bit of wheezing. I took some histatussin right before bed and I woke up with a rapid heart beat . I'm also feeling shaky. Is that a side effect of the medicine ?

I have been given my 18month old child Histatussin for under a week, and I have now noticed she's experiencing severe rash mostly on her upper body like ears, face, chest neck etc. could the Histatussin cause this?

Yes I do feel the same whenever I took histatusin.. But it helps with my allergy.. Just can't bare the symptoms it comes with
