This is a white oval pill that says watson 249

Since the markings can sometimes be hard to read, I believe the pill in question here may have had the marking WATSON 349, since it meets this description.

If so, then it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, which is a narcotic pain reliever.

Since it is a narcotic, it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.

And as we are now in 2013, I'd like to add that at some point, the information on the dosage of Acetaminophen in this tablet may no longer be correct.

The FDA wants all of these medications changed, so they only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen, due to the toxicity dangers with overdose or long-term use.

Some manufacturers have already implemented such changes and other are expect to have the process completed by January of 2014.
