What Happened?

I was on 5 mg of saphris for 3 weeks and hadn't felt that good in years from my depression. I told my doctor it was a wonder drug. My doctor said he hadn't heard of such a positive report. Soon after with no changes the depression returned. I want the depression to be lifted again. Any ideas? I don't see my doctor for another week.

This dose is likely not high enough to continue helping you and you will most likely need a dosage adjustment. This happens frequently and such medications are quite often started at a low dose and then titrated up, until you find the one that works well.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes.
