What Does D-amphetamine Salt Combo Do?

I took on 20 mg capsule and in a hour nothing happened. Its been about 8 hours now and I'm wondering if i need a bigger dose. When i took nothing happened that people warned me about. I didn't get more focused, i didn't get headaches, and i didn't lose my appetite. Im wondering if i should get a bigger dose or not. Thanks in advance for all your replies.

Adderall (amphetamine + dextroamphetamine) is a stimulant drug. So I'd imagine you should be experiencing at least a noticeable difference in energy levels. However it is not uncommon for nothing to happen, as medications can and usually do affect everyone differently.

Some people get great results, but there are others that it inevitably just doesn't work for no matter how many they take. Unfortunately when it comes to prescription drugs the only to find out is to try it for yourself and decide after a few days to a week or so if this drug is really right for you.

All medications can take awhile to reach their full effect in the body, while there may be some effect with just one dose, you really can't judge how well it will work for you, until you've taken it for several weeks.

In other words, you need to give it some time, before ou try to jump the dosage. You may just be one of those people that don't experience a lot of the side effects from it, but may still find out that it ends up working pretty for you.

I was prescribed 30 mg amphetamine salt combo twice a day is there any way to get it increased because it tends to only last bout 3 hours. Could it b the way my body metabolizes medications

I just got the peach oval 30 mg x2 a day this month and they do nothing that they should! I'm tired scattered brained and cranky. The only ones I've found that worked for me were the pink ones and they no longer make those . All pharmacists and Drs say they are all the same, all the same chemicals but binders and fillers a little different but idc what they say or how crazy they think I am ik the difference in what works and what doesn't something isn't the same

You are probably getting a bad mixture from your pharmacy. They just substituted my spansules for XR (time released). These pharmasists are nut cases.

Anyway, I have always found that 3 spansules work better than 2. That means ask your doctor for 3 caps (~30mg), there is no way to write spansule that I know of. The ``time released'' dexadrine is a hoax and should probably not be taken. I would return them to the pharmacy with a piece of wheat.
