Hello, Connie! How are you?
Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require strong analgesics for the long-term ongoing treatment of chronic pain.
Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that can refer you to someone? That would most likely be the quickest way of finding the help you beed.
There is more than one Forest City in the U.S., so can you please post back with your state? That would help enable people to make recommendations. Thanks!
Doctor in or near North Mississippi that is cheap. My husband is on SSI and I haven't worked in over 7 yrs due to chronic hypertension and severe pain in neck, shoulders, arms, hands and chest. Pain has now moved down to lower back, hips and knees. Was told 3 yrs ago by my family doc I might have lupus or RA from all my symptoms. Need expensive test run. Need help please, any advice? Was getting prescription antiinflammatory, pain meds an steriod pack. Been almost a year since any prescription meds or doc visits due to lack of insurance or income. Er visits a few times when it is so bad that I can't hardly move, become almost immobile.
Did you find a doc- I'm looking as well. Reply here or text {edited for privacy}
I just relocated to the Ohio/Pennsylvania area and looking for a pain management doctor or regular PCM that is not afraid to prescribe pain meds. I have been to a pain management doc before so I've had the injections and steroids and they don't help. I had a recent MRI back in June so I know what the problem is. I am about an hour from Pittsburgh and I don't mind the drive. Thank you any help.
Hi my Debra, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 5 travel ago. I also have spine faucet disease and arthritis all over my body. I go to a pain Dr. That prescribes Norco for pain. I took Oxycotin previously. But quit taking them, as it was hard to function. The Norco helps sometimes but u build a tolerence. I usually try to go off, or cut down, so the Norco works better. I know that because of restrictions, a lot of people have a hard time getting Narcotic prescriptions. I would not be able to function without them. Some days I still have a lot of pain with the Meds. I know what u r going through.
