What Pharmacy Carries Greenstone Xanax (Page 5) (Top voted first)

My longtime pharmacy stopped carrying the Greenstone generic of Xanax. How could I find another local pharmacy that does carry them?

You don't need a written prescription to ask about a drug price, as they will give you the U & C price? Heck Greenstone does all the work for you!

I get 270 at a time. If you are of the mindset that only one brand works , well spend the $250. I pay $25 (about $10 with insurance for a 3 month supply), and all brands seem to work. Greenstone is a good brand, I like all their products. There is no special formula, this is a Psych drug. Don't drive your Doctor nuts with your preferences, you can ask your pharmacy if they can simply order it for you

You are mistaken. A Doctor can specify that the brand name drug is only to be dispensed, but a doctor can not order with any degree of authority that the pharmacy must fill with that generic brand you just really like. I will say I had a certain medicine from Greenstone, and the pharmacist did say if you provide the NDC # of the generic product it is possible to attempt to get it for you

Your Doctor has no authority to specify your preferred generic brand, none. While the resources of McKesson are vast, I doubt very seriously CVS can special order the brand you prefer, don't believe it for the pennies they make on each fill?
