My longtime pharmacy stopped carrying the Greenstone generic of Xanax. How could I find another local pharmacy that does carry them?

I'm sorry, but the only thing you can really do is ask at the various pharmacies, but you'll need to go in person, with your prescription in hand. If you just call, they have no way of knowing if you're a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, so they won't give you an accurate answer.
This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

I have been successfully taking Sertraline supplied by Greenstone pharmaceutical. My pharmacy can no longer purchase it. They have given me another brand. The Greenstone product works for me. My pharmacist gave me the medication by a different company, and I have had success with the Greenstone product and am afraid of switching to a product from a different manufacturer. What should I do?

I just filled my prescription this morning for my 2mg alprazolam bars. I have been getting Sandoz for years but on this refill I noticed it was Greenstone G 372 2. I had no complaints about the Sandoz and thought they worked well. This is my first time ever getting Greenstone. I hope they're as effective as everyone claims.
BTW, I live in central Indiana (Indianapolis area) and got these filled at Kroger. I didn't ask for them or request them. That's just what they have in stock right now. So if you're in this area looking for 2mg Greenstone you should definitely check with Kroger.

You can call the pharmacies and ask who the manufacturer is of the medication your ina quoting about. Only need written rx if inquiring about a price. I do it for my husband often.

A quote with your Insurance, well no they don't have the time to put test claims in? However, you can always receive a quote, similar to how GoodRx or SingleCare does it. Glad to know you are enjoying your Activas/Teva, I got a bottle of those Wednesday, hadn't seen them for some time. I used to get very excited with this medicine, and then it almost killed me 10 years ago. Have a very different outlook on this stuff now

They used to have a Greenstone Pharmacy Locator, But what you could do is see if your pharmacist can special order medications from Mckesson. Mckesson is most of the main-chain pharmacies distributor, and even though everyone thinks "Mom-and-Pop" pharmacies are better, I've personally dealt with one that specificially COULDN'T order from McKesson, which lead to me switching to CVS.

Look up the pill identification via its color, shape and markings, and it will tell you exactly what manufacturer this is. Then you can call the pharmacy and ask for that manufacturer. When you call and ask the way you have been you look like a drug seeker and they purposefully aren’t answering you correctly. Hope this helps. They’re are MANY free pill identifier websites that will tell you in seconds what you’re looking for.
