Avil is just another antihistamine that's used to help treat allergies, but it isn't going to help if that's not what's causing your problem.

Are you sexually active? I have to wonder if you may have caught a type of skin mite that can cause symptoms like this in those same areas. The itching is often worse late at night, when you are inactive and warm under blankets in bed.
