What Is The Side Effect Of Tab Cintapro

I take this tablet regularly for last 12 years as prescribed by the doctor. Hence, I would like to know the side effect of it. At present I appear to be o.k.

This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I was however able to locate some basic information on the drug:

Cintapro contains the active ingredient Cinitapride. It is a gastroprokinetic agent and antiulcer agent of the benzamide class which is marketed in India, Mexico, Pakistan and Spain.

Other brand/marketing names for this medication include: Blaston, Cidine, Cinmove, Cintapro, and Pemix. Searching under these names may help bring up more results than I was able to provide. Also if you are located outside of the U.S. you may have better luck going to your local pharmacy for answers.

I was suffering from heart burn and stomach pain from last 5-6 month, doctor did endoscopy and they found duodenal ulcer. After the hospitalized treatment they have advised Cintapro OD tablet & Darolac IBS for on month is this ok. Please advice.
