The highest dosage that is currently available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen.

However, the amount of Acetaminophen in all of these combination products is being lowered, due to a request by the FDA, due to the risk of liver failure or damage that can be associated with long-term use and the danger of overdose toxicity. They will all be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose.

Some manufactures have already begun to implement the change and the rest are expected to have it completely by January of 2014…

However, if you view the various posts on here, you'll discover that it's already getting very difficult to find any available in the higher doses.

Therefore, if you're discussing your options with your doctor and you want a prescription that you will be able to get filled, then your best bet is to stick with just 325mgs of Acetaminophen.

There is a 10/325 dosage that's available.
