Planax is also known as Contrimoxazole, it contains the active ingredients Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim, commonly prescribed in the U.S under the brand name Bactrim.

This is an antibiotic that is used to treat infections, it is not a pain reliever.

Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
