I'm overseas & my husband came down with pneumonia after long term intubation (he had a stroke) they were giving him Sulperazone for 14 days & then stopped. He still has bloody lung secretions. They believe that Sulperazone causes kidney damage. They will start it again if he develops a fever. Is there a better medicine & do you think he is getting the right care??
