What is the difference in the action of Atorvastatin against simvastatin?

I am taking a new blood pressure pill called "Amlodipine Besylate". On the dosage instructions, it says extra care may be needed in taking this with simvastatin....Is the same caution for Atorvastatin ?JCZCP

The reaction is unique to just the Simvastatin if taken with the Amlodipine, it can increase the levels of it that are absorbed in your body, which could result in more severe side effects, or a potential overdose. They can be used together, but the maximum Simvastatin dose should not exceed 20mgs daily.
