What is "informed Rx" as referred to by the app at The App Store?

Hi Bill,

The publisher's description of the app states the following:

"The informedRx iPhone app features your prescription information anytime, anywhere. Register for the informedRx app or use your member login to access your prescription benefits. View medication history; Locate participating pharmacies; GPS enabled; Compare drug costs and find lower-cost alternatives; Learn about drug side effects; Organize and set reminders for prescription and over the counter drugs; Manage your medical contacts; Receive fill and prior authorization notifications. This app is free for plan members to make healthy and cost effective choices!"

I'm not sure if it actually costs money to be a member or if it is something you can easily sign up for in order to use the app to it's greatest potential.

Who is this Informed RX? Why is my pharmacy unable to fill my script without contacting my pain management dr. who U/A's me every month, makes me fill out a questionnaire with the same questions every month, chargers my insurance co. over a thousand dollars for the U/A, not counting the the hundreds for the office visit, has a complete history of all meds filled by my pharmacy etc. All this and yet my pharmacy can't fill my script because of INFORMED RX??
