What Is In A Delotta Pill

I take oxicodone 10mg for a bad back & they just don't seam to work that well. I was told delotta is better & less sight effects. Is this true & if so, what mg of delotta should I take to be equal to OR BETTER THAN the 10mg oxicodone I'm taking now??

The name if this medication is often misunderstood, it's actually called Dilaudid and the active ingredient is Hydromorphone.

And it is a very potent narcotic that like any other will require a doctor's prescription.

However, it is slightly stronger than the Oxycodone and you'd only require 3.75mgs of it for each 10mgs of the Oxycodone.

The part about their being less side effects is not true, though, it can cause the same side effects as Oxycodone, how many you experience depends on how your body reacts to it.

I am seeing that the active ingredient comes in:

Tablet: 2mg, 4mg, 8mg

Tablet, Extended Release: 12mg, 16mg, 32mg, 8mg

If I'm not mistaken I believe the Dilaudid is immediate release, and another brand of this medication called Exalgo is the extended release formula. Hope this helps!

Dilaudid is good. I've only ever seen the 1mg 2mg 4mg and 8mg the 12mg and 16 mg ones are slow release and are s***. The D8's are the best for pain relief. I find them better than oxy and better than morphine. They are cleaner.
