i have to take a drug test form my P O can naproxen cause a false positive.

There are many medications that can cause false positives, far too many for me to be able to list them all here. However, if you are taking anything else, I will be happy to check them for you, if you post back with more information.

As to the Naproxen, yes, it has been known to cause false positives for THC from marijuana.

I tested positive for marijuana on a cotton swab drug test for a job. I do not use any drugs except what my dr has me on. Can you tell me if there is any of my meds that might have a false positive? Here is the list of meds that I take daily diphenhydramine 25 mg once at night Loratdine 10 mg once at night Naproxen 500 mg 2 times a day once in morning once at night Fluoxetine 40 mg once at night Omeprazole 40 mg once at night Amitriptyline 50mg once at night Flovent 110mcg 2 puffs my mouth daily once in morning once at night Proair 108 hfa 2 puffs up to 4 times a day usually 2 times one in morning and one at night they also have me on fishoil and flaxseed i sometimes take ibu about 1 to 2 times aday about 800 mg at a time. I've been court ordered to take random drug tests i have passed them every two weeks since march with no problem but now today i was called in for a random ua it came back positive for marijuana & benzos! I haven't touched a drug since march 7 2014 but I've been taking Tylenol & naproxen for my recent allergy flare up & shoulder pain! Could either of these caused the false positive of these two(marijuana & benzos?) My custody over my children & my freedom are at stake & i need to know what might have caused this false positive

I was court ordered to take a urine drug test. I Tested positive for something called Benzo's. I take Naproxen, Tizanidine and Trazadone for back pain, carpul tunnel and insomnia. I don't take anything else. Could this be why i failed? I'm freaking out, even with a list of my medications and when i filled them at the pharmacy.

I have been taking ibfrofen 800 and naproxen 500 mg and oxycodone 30 mg, xanex, and flexerill for 2-3 yrs now. Will this make me test positive for marijuana?

I was taking naproxen 500 meg
I drop 2 times a week i drop today's before taking the naproxen i was good i took my frist dose of naproxen on the 2st and drop on the 3th it came back postive for heron that day on the 3th

Started taking Aleve for my hip and shoulder pain. Prior to starting the Aleve my UA's all came back negative. After taking the Aleve had two UA's come back positive for bezodiaphamine, stopped taking Aleve now UA's are negitive. What's the deal?. And the company that gave the results it's not saying it's a false positive. So frustrated. My surgery is getting delayed because of this. Any way to prove my innocence????. Thanks
