What Does Verapamil Er 180 Mgm Tabs Look Like

I was recently prescibed Verapamil ER Tabs 180 mgm po qd. It is an oblong pill, bright blue,scored,a capital M on one side and numbers 312 on the other. This does not match any of your descriptions.

Just to confirm, the pill imprint "M 312" on an oval blue pill has been identified as Verapamil hydrochloride extended-release 180 mg.

Inactive Ingredients:
hypromellose
magnesium stearate
microcrystalline cellulose
polydextrose
polyethylene glycol
povidone
sodium alginate
sodium lauryl sulfate

triacetin
FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminium Lake

So yes, it is in fact a real pill, if that's what you were originally concerned about.

I have been on verapamil fpr years, but recently during an illness and hospitalization and weight loss my blood pressure has been normal without medication. Tonight I felt "woozy" and took my blood pressure to find it 154/104. Should I take a verapamil, as I have some left over. Have not had a verapamil since 9/4/2014.
