i get (2) 2mg Klonopin a day. I just don't understand some wording in the script? It says:
Klonopin 2 mg
no Bid

What does the Bid stand for?

B.i.d means twice a day t.i.d means 3 times a day. It usually read 2 tab po bid q day that means 2 tablets by mouth twice a day every day

b.i.d. Is a Latin Acronim for bis in die (twice a day). It is often confused with bt (bedtime) and so qhs or (quaque hora somni) everyday at bedtime is predominantly used for bedtime doses

This would be used, for instance, if your doctor wanted you to take the 2mgs at the same time and not separate throughout the day.

If your doctor doesn't note it this way, your pharmacy would assume that you were to take 1mg, twice a day, or etc.

no i found out it means only twice a day. qid means 4 times qed means as needed
