No, Neurontin contains the active ingredient Gabapentin, it is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to be effective at treating certain types of nerve pain, so it is not a substance that is included on drug test panels.
It has also not been known to cause false positives for anything else.

Neurontin only shows up as neurontin or gabapenton and is rarely tested for. I'm in drug court and they test us for everything including neurontin and ultram/ultracet

I take methadone to keep myself clean from taking opiates but a ex friend stole my methadone and my money a few days before my appointment so to stop myself from withdrawal I took neurontin 800 mg the past two days and now I have a drug test tomorrow at and seriously need to know if the neurontin will show up on my 12 panel drug test ??

No....your good man. I go thru the same stuff. Just took a nuerontin and I passed on a 15 panel....and that tests for suboxone, spice, bath salt etc...

I am doing a detox to come of methadone and I will be given suboxone. Can I take I gabapentin as a pain killer? Will it react against the suboxone? Will it work or will the suboxone cancel it out?

I have a pre employment drug screen today. I'm so worried because they don't allow you to tell them any prescription drugs you're taking. I'm on gabapentin, acetaminophen/cod 30mg, and amoxicillin. Do I have anything to worry about? I really need this job.

If the acetaminophen cod has codine in it then yes the codine will show up. My step mom took my dad's codine and failed a drug test for a Job at Publix.

Drug court is a program for addicts that they put you in instead of jail if you have non violent drug offenses! It sucks but it's better than jail i guess

Will gabapentin is now up in an 8 panel drug test, I am in a half way house and I took a couple fine my back pains I get from work, I am worried that I will get a bad result on my next ua, and I get u.as. weekly, and also how long will gabapentin stay in my system? Thanks

Good answer! Pep say alot bs on here bout things they don know,im on sub. And nuerontin will show on send outs NOT ON INSTANT in office tests,trust me iv been around the block n back 2 times!

I was in the methadone clinic. For about a year. They had drug test cups that did instant results. I think it tested for 5 drugs. Anyways. One of the tests was for methadone I had just dosed that day. And then did my drug screen. The methadone did not show up on the screen. My therapist says that they must of had a bad batch of drug screen cups. She even admitted that there drug screens were not accurate. That's scary if your doing it for court.

Yes! I can and will positively show up if you are being specifically tested got it. Pain management Drs and Addiction Drs are however usually the only agents who utilize said test. It is not on a 3, 5, 7, 9, or 11 panel drug test. It could be on a 13 but I don't think so. Good luck and be careful of Gabapentin, it's horribly addictive and u will have miserable withdrawal if you're on a high dose a stop taking it abruptly... #experience
