What Does Dilaudid Show Up On A Drug Screen

I am a 32 yr. old female who is on methadone maitnance. I did 8 dilaudid yesterday and had a drug test today. Someone told me that dilaudid shows up as methadone on a drug screen, is that true or will I loose my take home status for being dirty?

She likely tested positive for hydromorphone. No other drug shows up as Methadone because they test specifically for Methadone and the metabolite of Methadone.

No it doesn't show up as methadone. It shows up as an opiate. Methadone has to be specifically tested for and is expensive. The methadone clinics of course always test you for methadone to make sure it is in your system. Don't assume you can use someone elses urine and put in a drop of methadone. Most clinics now test to make sure the methadone was metabolized and tampering with urines at most clinics is grounds for immediate administrative detox.

Will norco and cheratussin dac show up the same on the standard 10 panel drug test... i have a script for norco but i took my grandmothers cheratussin last saturday for a cold i couldnt get tid of... i had a pre employment drug screen done yesterday which is six days after i took the cheratussin. Will it show up? And if it does can i show my norco script and say it was the reason for the positive?

Your probably ok on 6 days out. You would need to find out the half life of the med and then do the multiplications on it. Let me know how it went.

does break through hydromorphine show up as hydromorphine on a urine test. running low on my hydromorphine would like to take some breakthroughs but im scared it will show different in my urine im prescribed hydromorphine.

Yes, you will lose your take homes. Only Methadone will show up as methadone. It vwill show up as either morphine or hydromorphone, which it ius.
