What Does Dilaudid Show Up As On A Drug Test (Page 2)
UpdatedI have probation tomorrow and have been taking dilaudid about 12mg for bout four days. will it show up as an opiate or something else?
BC they mix all kinds of sh-t in the heroin these days. I was testing my brother randomly and all sorts of different drugs would come up from heroin use.
I take morphine and vicodin everyday I had a urine test last week and the nurse called and asked why I had codeine in my system I have not taken any codeine for years how could I tested positive for codeine
As you stated your pills were stolen, do you know who & under what circumstances they were stolen & did you file a police report? Some doctors (although most won't due to the recent increase of patient abuse & diversion), "may possibly" provide patients w/remaining tablets depending on date Rx was filled & stolen. It would be in your best interest to file a report so your doctor won't drop you, + it reflects good faith with patient/doctor relationship. Good luck!
No they are different dilapidated will show up as hydromorphone and morphine will show up as morphine, embed a also will show up as morphine
Di laud will show up as an opiate and percocet as oxycodone either way find a good doctor who will put you in suboxone you need help.
Pain doctor
I have to go to pain Doctor tomorrow and was wondering if I took a Huron iPhone on Wednesday will it show up on my test tomorrow? And if so what will it show as?
Your levels were too high meaning you took a lot of dilaudid the only way they can determine its herion if your levels are high once lab tested
No Hydrocodone(Vicodin, lortab) does NOT get broken down by your liver and turn it into hydromorphone(dilaudid, heroin) dilaudid and heroin are the SAME drug...hydromorphone and your body breaks both of these down into morphine which in a drug test will just show positive for opiates. Now when u take oxycontin, percs, oxy ir it shows up as Oxycodone which MOST drug yes these days show...they will have a Lin for OPIATES and a separate line for OXYCODONE but your liver does NOT turn hydrcodone into morphine....FACT
No more i*****ic opinions or potentially dangerous misinformation pertaining to urine testing. Hydromorphone does not show up in standard pre-employment drug tests. The opiate test primarily checks for morphine (which both codeine and heroin metabolize into). Hydromorphone does not metabolize into morphine, therefore it is not detected. As with most substances, hydromorphone is possible to test for, but this is extremely uncommon.
I'm a nurse and can tell you that yes! Dilaudid shows up as an opiate!
It will show up as hydromorphone. Dilaudid is an extended Opiod pain medication and has a half life of 2-3 hours in the blood stream and 3-4 days in a urine tox screen after last dose if it isn't taken consistently !! It also depends on your metabolism. If you took it last night and your test is today it will show up as an extended Opiod on pee test or it will show as hydrocodone and morphine again, depending on how fast tour metabolism is !! If you aren't given a prescription for the medications you are taking then I would highly suggest you stop taking them. If you are in pain and need help you should seek help with a medical professional as to avoid any illegal issues or addiction habits !! I really am not trying to put you down or be mean I just am upset when I hear of people abusing these medications and increasing risk of death by over dose as well as helping to impose more strict laws on the already strict pain management system. I know first hand. I am on pain management and have monthly urine tox screens as well as random urinalysis and pill counts !! It was difficult to be approved for pain management at first because of the high risk of abuse and all of the individuals who have been prescribed these medications and sold them or abused them !!! I have a lot of health ailments that justifies use of pain medications on a daily basis however, I am prescribed 4 per day and that is all I take. Abuse of pain medications is nothing to mess around with. It may make you feel uforic but, it's not worth the liver damage, kidney failure, and heart problems you will form over time from abusing them. I would highly encourage that you seek treatment or help if you are abusing them. One more thing to think about..... If you abuse pain medications, your system will build a tolerance the higher that tolerance is, the more you will need to take to feel like you did when you first started taking them. Now, lets say you got in an accident and are in the ICU for a few days or weeks. You are in ICU and are receiving regular doses of pain medications every 2-4 hours but, you aren't getting relief from them and the docs won't give you anymore!! If they have set a limit where you only get 2mg dilaudid every 2 hours and 5mg morphine every 4 hours......that is all your getting and let me tell you my friend when, you are in the hospital and you feel like you have gone through surgery without pain medication and wake up in pain then go to sleep in pain every day for months.....you would have wishes you never abused those medications and there isn't anyone that will do anything about it !! You know why ??? Because to many people abuse the system and they have to legally be as strict as they can while still trying to make their patients feel a little less pain without themselves getting in trouble or having their license revoked all because one patient lied and said they don't abuse pain medications and they have an above average tolerance to medications because they abuse them !!! It's not fair to those that need it and it isn't fair to yourself. I hope everything works out well for you and please get help if you need it !! You can be happy and feel euphoric in life without abusing medications!! Good luck to you!!
Right!!# reading these peopkes responses will drive you crazy! If they dont really know the answer then they definately shouldnt be giving advice..i totally agree with you!
I take diaudid every day for chronic panceatitis pain. It is getting harder and harder at the pharmacy to get the scripts filled and they look at you like you're an addict abusing them and a dirtball.
I wish this information would be moved to the top of discussion forums/responses. I literally just obtained a hand written letter from a pharmacist because of a false-positive of hydrocodone for morphine. She explained that hydrocodone "can" (depending on how some people break it down) into hdyromorphone (which is also Diluidid), which IS detected as morphine. Tylenol 3 with Codeine will actually do the exact same thing.
because dilaudid derives from an opiate, its technically classified as an "opiod" which just means 'a synthetic substance derived from opiate'..
On my reply about the pharmacist note; I originally tested positive for morphine on a drug screen from work when I took Hydrocodone the previous evening. The degree of ignorance about how things break down is astounding. Despite the note, several PDF's that explain how this occurs, I was terminated two days later. I was accused of being a drug addict, offered drug addiction treatment, and I was told I was in denial about my "addiction." I took 1 Hydrocodone that had previously been prescribed, wasn't due to return to work for several weeks, had several notes describing what happened, and was terminated anyway. People should know this stuff, particularly employers.
The person who said dilaudid or hydromorphone would not show up on an opiate test is so very wrong. The drug breaks down into morphine so there would be your answer.
I just failed a drug test and all I take is dilaudid. I do not do heroin and I very rarely take any other opiates. Now my life is s*** because these studies or what not are wrong.
Opana er and dilaudid are hydromorphone. Morphine based. They will show up as morphine. I take the opanas and morphine sulfate, but don't know how they come out on basic test. Does anyone?
