Metformin is a generic medication, so it is manufactured by several different companies and they will all have different markings to enable their identification, thus there is really no way I could post what all of them look like and the descriptions.
Just to give you a few examples...
White, oblong, 93 on one side, 7214 on the opposite.
White, oblong, GP 128.
White, oblong, Z 71.
and white, oval, C 474 are all examples of 1000mg Metformin tablets.

I received a new prescription of Metformin HCL tabs and they are different than any received previously. They are oblong with a '93' on one side and '48' on the other. It says mfg is Teva

my husband accidentally combined our pills into new containers he purchased. He didn't know that my metformin 1000 resembled his oxycodone 7.5 500's. So I have two large containers with different numbers.
One has I 47 and the other has H 104. We purchased these in Florida where we used to live, at Publix, Walmart and Walgreens. Help, I need to take my pills asap.
