Wellbutrin Allergic Or Not

Hi I started taking the generic Wellbutrin SR 10 days ago. The first day I took 100 mg in the morning and at night and I felt really sick to my stomach so the next day I got a crazy idea of cutting the 100mg in half and taking half in morning and half at night. I was ok until two days ago and I feel like I have the worst hangover. I finally called my doctor and she put me on bupropion hcl 75 mg cause she said you can't cut the SR pills. I took the bupropion hcl this morning and I still feel like i have worst hangover again. Did I mess myself up by taking the split pills for that many days or am I just not able to take this medicine?

Thanks, I am feeling much better. I am currently only taking 75 mg a night of bupropion hcl and 25 mg of zoloft. Do you think this combination will work?

All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, the FDA lists the ones for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, nervousness and insomnia.

However, they are typically transient and go away in time, once your body gets used to the medication, which usually takes 4 to 5 weeks.
