Plz can anybody tell me if I can use periactin for increasing my body weight, also to particularly gain mass on my face? I was suffering from a kidney stone and sometimes I feel a little pain on both of my sides. Plz reply to me. Is periactin safe for me?

Actually now i have no kidney stone, i released from it. My diet always so heavy about calories. but instead of gain weight i become more skinny and weak. like ill. daily i drink milk, fruits egg, meat and high calories diet. i have one issue i have no sleep at night also i am depress. i have also no medical issue at all. If i take this pill. Could u tell me how to prevent his side effects? i mean what diet or medicine i use with thi?

Periactin contains the active ingredient Cyproheptadine, it is an antihistamine. And yes, it can help stimulate someone's appetite, but if you do put on weight, there is no way to target it to your face or any other body part.

It is really not safe to just randomly use a medication to try to gain weight, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so.

If you have kidney stones, you also need to be careful, because some medications can make them worse.

Your best bet to try and gain weight is by eating a healthy diet and increasing your caloric intake.

However, some people will never gain much weight and will always be tiny and it may be a fact that you just have to accept.
