Weaning Off Of Zubsolv

Has anyone here had any experience weaning themselves off of zubsolv? I've been on it for almost a year now and I really want to get completely off. I've gotten myself down to only half a pill a day but when I try to stop completely I still go through terrible withdrawal. Any suggestions?

I have been on it for 7-8months with subutex, suboxone, some other one, and Zubzolv. IT IS HELL!!! I've been on the above meds off and on, but this time it's been 3 years.

What dosage are you taking?

Cutting down to only half a pill may still be too much and thus, could be the reason for the withdrawals. However, without your dosage information, it's hard to say.

Have you consulted your doctor for assistance?

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Yes he seems to think weaning off should be easier than it appears to be. I had no idea it was going to cause so many withdrawal symptoms. Even cutting down to a quarter of the pill, which is what I am taking now is causing some terrible symptoms. If it was up to my doctor he would have me taking this stuff forever. So maybe thats why he isnt helping as much as I would like him too. He says that Zubsolv helps with pain but I do not think it does and I dont want to be on any opiate of any kind any longer. I wish there was an exact answer as to the best way to get off this stuff.
