Weakness From Eliquis

Elequis problems I forgot to mention. I now have Periphial neuropathy, stiff joints in the morning, tremendous depression that destroys my well being and can't sleep very well. My muscle tone is gone and my legs barely hold me up. My arms are too week to support me also. I feel like the life is being sucked out of me. Its working but the price I have to pay physically is too much.

I was on Xarelto but had the usual bad side effects so my consultant physician changed my meds to Eliquis with even worse side effects. I now have had a sore throat for over 5 months as well as the burning pins and needles in my arms and legs.. Doc says it's not possible that the throat issues are caused by Eliquis, Really? Don't these guys read the list of possible side effects listed in the information that comes in the box. I have nephropathy according to all my doctors and that's that. They want to put me on more meds to counteract that. Not likely.

I have had the exact things you mention while taking eliquis. Its like having your life sucked out of me. My doctor says it lack of exercising. Well just try to exercize while having AFIB. I'm ready to sue Eliquis for sucking my life away.

How long have you been taking this medication? Are you on any other medications?

Those can be normal side effects, according to the FDA, you may also experience dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.
