Watson Hydrocodone Pills - Which Pharmacy Carries Them? (Page 7)
UpdatedI live in northern ky and walgreens quit carrying watson brand and their new brand makes my whole body hurt. I want to find what pharmacies carry watson?
Re: yesido (# 4)
par pharm closed the alabama qualitest manufacturing facility i have not found them since march 19 ---can you still get them
Re: roro (# 121)
No I can’t. And I get treated like a drug addict if I try to call and find it.
Where in San Francisco is watson carried?
Re: Lina (# 123)
I will post this once more: Watson quit producing hydrocodone tablets under the Watson name in 2016 or 2017. The Watson brand was a great brand until the government got involved and said that "opioids" were responsible for many deaths. The opioids that they were referring to is heroin but unfortunately ALL opioids were painted with the same brush. Street addicts being addicted to heroin and overdosing on it is the main problem.
I have the same problem only not for Watson/activis hydrocodone but for soma! My Walgreen’s used to carry Watson then Watson changed and they started caring I believe Qualitest and now they don’t carry that and now I’m onto the side Jen manufacture and it doesn’t relieve the pain
Re: Lula (# 12)
Good luck finding it.

Good luck
Cherokee pharmacy in taylor mill last time I was there
Re: Apple (# 1)
I'm in Copperhill Tennessee and the drugstore says they stop making the yellows. I can't take the white or blue, they make my stomach in pain. Do you know where I can get the yellows?
Re: Pauline (# 9)
I agree, the Mallinkro generic is what Walgreens and cvs use in my area. I thought it was me. It doesn't help with pain unless I take two and that barely works. It also depresses me, which Watson hydrocodone never did.
Re: Turtle (# 128)
The yellow Watson pills have not been available due to the yellow Watson pills being stopped manufactured since around 2015.
Re: Jersey (# 126)
That 300 is normally a name brand and not a generic.
Re: Julie (# 15)
Walgreens stopped saying over the phone what brand they carry of any schedule 2 drug. They found out that their were "teams" of people calling to find out if the Walgreens could fill a certain prescription and when they said "yes" another person would show up to rob the Pharmacy. I was told this by a Walgreens Mgr. where I filled all my prescriptions for many years. This was when Pharmacy robberies were a big thing. The criminals found out that robbing Pharmacies was not such a good thing anymore.
Re: Mike (# 17)
You posted your request in 2017. The Watson brand of pain relievers were discontinued in 2016. The company that bought them still kept the name for other medications but not the pain relievers.
Re: Apple (# 1)
It’s not Watson anymore. They may still have the same or similar markings, but Actavis bought Watson a few years ago
Re: Jersey (# 126)
The 300 milligram denotes how much acetaminophen is in the pill and also indicates that the pill is a NAME BRAND--not a generic. 325 denotes it is a generic. They do not even manufacture a "name brand only" Norco in the 7.5 or 5 milligram size. There are NO cdc numbers to indicate they are even manufactured. According to Aetna Insurance and my pharmacist 5 milligram or 7.5 milligram Norco is not even manufactured at all.
Re: Marjorieson (# 122)
One cannot even have the most civil of conversations with any Pharmacist or Doctor about pain medicine. You cannot even speak about it without being thought of as a drug addict.
Re: BustedBack (# 8)
I am in the same position. I was able to take qualitest for many years which helped to ease the severe pain I have so I could have a life and do things... socialize, housework, yard, etc. Four months ago, the new pharmacist at Walgreen's said they couldn't get that anymore. I am highly sensitive to ingredients in medications. They had mallinckrodt which gave me a big seizure! I showed up to pick up my Rx and was told they didn't have it. Walgreen's also special ordered it and even through the pandemic and all last year I was still able to get the qualitest brand every month. I have to help my mom recovering from a stroke. I researched when up to it and find McKesson has qualitest brand. Nobody will order it for me! Now, I went from being active to nothing. I need to go back to work and have a life I am not one to spend time in bed during the day but now I have a setback and spend time in bed with the horrific pain and flare ups. This is no way to live. Thank you for listening. I called McKesson and yes they took it over the qualitest hydro. It is difficult to try to deal with when one is in severe pain. I had joined a fitness club too and doing yoga trying to take care of my health until now this happened. I also have Meneire's disease for years and anyway qualitest really helped me. Forgive me for sounding like I am rambling too much or repeating myself. I am beyond frustrated. Left stranded with no help from pharmacist. Oh, I have never had any seizures before and it was scary. Incidentally it was many years ago, a wonderful pharmacist helped me find the right medication for my pain and that it worked for me and he use to work at Walgreen's. Good luck to you.
Re: Is (# 10)
Agree. Watson is garbage and always made me very sick. Whatever they put in some medications make me sick.
Re: Apple (# 1)
Last I was told by calling the pharmaceutical company they discontinued Hydrocodone. It’s really to bad as they were the best Hydrocodone. I refuse any and all drugs made by malinkroft. Patches fall off easy and spent a day searching our community pool. The Hydrocodone was like taking aspirin more than pain killer.
Re: Mel (# 139)
Yep Watson hydrocodone was bought by a Brazilian company about the same time Par bought Qualitest. I think Par kept Qualitest running about a year (probably to fulfill order commitments & use up those ingredients ordered). So yep the cheap companies save money by using the 80% level then buy the good companies & close them down to get rid of the competition. I wouldn't doubt that the government helps them buy the decent companies to get rid of them.
